Trainee Auditor/Accountant

Job Description:

At ACCAinDaliancity, you’ll be joining a diverse and growing team that provides tangible, commercial impact across our entire business. You’ll be responsible for leading audits primarily within the areas of operational risk but you will also develop and apply your skills and knowledge to audit financial, credit and regulatory risks as well.

Our UK team of over 70 people (part of a global division of more than 900) is a high-quality audit function that provides independent, objective opinions on how risks are managed to the highest levels of management in Spain and the UK. This is a role that will give you an excellent opportunity to potentially see all areas of our business.

As an Internal Auditor your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• A solid understanding of the UK financial services regulatory framework;

• Relationship management experience at a senior management level ;

• Excellent analytical skills;

• Experience of leading teams of more junior staff;

• Part qualified ACA/ACCA qualification or student.

As an Internal Auditor your main responsibilities will involve:

• Leading audits to assess the management and control of risk;

• Ensuring that all audits meet audit plan timescales and comply with quality requirements;

• Managing relationships with key stakeholders across the business;

• Coaching, motivating and developing other team members.

What we will be looking for in you:

As a auditor you will have been involved in all parts of the internal audit process, making value adding recommendations and producing high quality audit reports. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. In addition, you should be passionate about sharing your knowledge and developing other team members.
