Temporary Data Analyst (3 months)
Job Description:
We are currently looking for a number of Data Analysts to work in our offices in Caerphilly for a period of 3 months to carry out analysis of suppliers and related financial information provided by the clients and present the results in the form required. Processing data to support the operational activities of Santia Consulting and the sales and marketing functions of Santia Consulting.
The Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
• Processing data to support the operational activities of Santia Consulting and the sales and marketing functions of Santia Consulting
• Regularise and enrich the data to meet client requirements. This includes using automated, semi-automated and manual methods as directed
• Matching of data to various internal Santia systems to aid sales and marketing
• Aid in the synchronising of data held in the Santia internal systems
• Create lists of sales opportunities
• Create and amend simple sql statements as required to support the role
• Assist colleagues with data analysis
• Record data reception and project progress in the appropriate management systems
• Ensure data security and comply with the provisions of the Data Protection Act
We are looking for the successful individual to have:
• Computer literacy is essential. The ability to be logical, accurate and to work to tight timescales is required
• A working knowledge of Excel
• A knowledge of and MSAccess and SQL would be an advantage
• The role is part of the IT function and will require working closely with other IT and data analysis staff
• Experience in data processing, mathematics, IT or statistics would be desirable
