Tax Specialist

£19,000 to £24,000

Gloucester

Great opportunity to join this highly respected, well-established accountancy practice based in Gloucester. Working with the Practice Manager you will be responsible for assisting with the tax work, your main duties will be:

• Billing for payroll and personal tax compliance clients

• Personal Tax compliance work

• Preparation of personal, partnership and trust Tax Returns

• Preparation of weekly and monthly payrolls, payroll processes and related end of year procedures

• Effectively communicate progress with members of the client team

• Interact both face to face and on the phone with clients

• Keep accurate log of P11D and P35 progress and submission dates via spreadsheets

• Liaise directly with HMRC and other intermediaries where relevant

• Liaise directly with the Accounts Manager on all matters affecting the work you are responsible for

• Prioritise workload, meet strict deadlines and have a good understanding of time management
