SharePoint Developer / Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Sharepoint developer/consultant to work on the design and development of customer solutions. You must be aware of all aspects of SharePoint including enterprise search, portals, collaboration, forms and business processes.
Formal IT qualifications or university degree are preferable but not essential if relevant industry experience can be demonstrated. Technical Skills required of the candidate include:
– Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (or recent experience with 2010) including Windows SharePoint Services 3.0
– Experience of developing custom components (CAML, Event Handlers, Workflows, WCM, Web Parts, etc.)
– Excellent understanding of SharePoint architecture and the deployment of large SharePoint implementations
– Expert C# and ASP.NET development experience
– Full lifecycle experience designing, developing large scale web applications
– Good knowledge of SQL (SQL Server or Oracle)
– Hands-on knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS
– Hands-on knowledge of Java Script, AJAX, DHTML
– Experience of one or more other Content Management Systems (e.g. SDL Tridion, SiteCore, EpiServer, Umbraco) is desirable, although not mandatory.

– Strong interpersonal skills
– Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally
