Job Purpose Summary: Working as part of the Technology team, the Senior Systems Developer will be responsible for planning and management of systems development for all clients. They will work closely with the Commercial department to review client requirements and the systems provided to each and propose improvements to enhance MI and reporting capabilities. They will manage the development function and ensure that the Commercial department are informed of all development issues and timescales.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities (Duties)
• Design and develop systems to client specifications
• Liaise directly with Commercial department for all client proposals and requirements
• Creation of customised MI and enhanced reporting capabilities using SSIS,SSAS & SSRS
• Troubleshooting of escalated development issues
• Ownership and extension of the company’s core applications which are written in ASP.Net 2 and Windows Forms.
• Manage workload across development function and delegate to others where necessary.

• Object orientated system design skills
• C#
• Asp.Net & ADO.Net
• Winforms.
• IIS
• T-Sql
• Triggers, stored procedures
• Strong understanding of the full SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
Other beneficial skills:
• Sql Server administration
• Sql Server Integration Services
• Sql Server Analysis Services
• .Net 3.5 and 4 knowledge such as Entity Framework, WCF
Nice to have:
• HTML, CSS, Javascript, Ajax
