Job Description:
Membership Consultant
To consistently achieve personal membership sales targets and related performance standards while
supporting colleagues in achieving team targets. To accurately process any documentation relating
thereto.
• Maintain a comprehensive and thorough knowledge of the Club’s Membership and Operations
systems and details of its policies.
• Telephone prospective enquiries and ensure that details are accurately entered on to the
database.
• Meet with prospective members and sell the facilities of the Club (tour) ensuring that accurate
information is tailored to the identified requirements of the prospective member.
• Accurately complete all necessary documentation and record the information on the computer
system.
• Support the Induction of new members through liaison with other departments.
• Deal with telephone or personal enquiries regarding membership matters and record details/send
information as required. Follow up as necessary.
• Arrange trial visits (where applicable), ensuring appropriate touring and follow up.
• Handle any administration required by the department, including making up membership packs
and updating computer records and notice boards.
• Attend training sessions, departmental meetings and personal reviews as and when requested.
• Promote the Club’s reputation for world class standards of customer care and services.
• Monitor own KPIs and take action to ensure these are in line with target / trend.
• Ensure accurate reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) of personal KPI performance as required.
• Manage the membership database and provide accurate information as requested.
