Project Manager / "Air Traffic Controller"
Job Description:
Creative Air traffic controllers at Ph Creative maintain the safe and orderly movement of project traffic along all major routes of the business operations by giving our creative and technical pilots instructions and advice as to scale, speed, course and resource of our website development and marketing projects.
The right high-flying Project Manager will be responsible for keeping projects successfully travelling through all of the various stages of delivery until they land safely. When a project touches down, the passengers should be happy customers who have enjoyed their journey, the on board experience of Ph Creative, and are looking forward to using us to make their business continue to fly.
With the Ph Creative team growing, the airways are becoming increasingly busy. A level headed, organised, process driven individual is required to ensure the smooth running of the Ph.Flight Plan, through savvy project management skills, great ability to influence and simply…make things happen!
Typical work activities
Tasks typically involve:
• keeping regular radio contact with all creative and development pilots;
• Ensure project updates with account managers responsible for the customer experience, delivering customer resources and customer feedback
• directing the movement of projects en route to various terminal destinations ;
• instructing projects to climb or descend and allocating final cruising level for delivery;
• providing information to pilots about schedule weather conditions;
• making sure that minimum safe distances are maintained between projects;
• handling unexpected events, emergencies and unscheduled traffic.
• Provide control tower reports of traffic delivery and future scheduling
• controlling movements onto and off project runways;
• handling the ground movement of projects around the business terminal departments
You will guide and sequence projects into the most efficient order for landing in terms of cashflow and client demand. This includes dealing with project planning systems, which allows for smooth and scheduled landings, and also makes sure that new projects are placed in customer focused holding patterns when the project schedules are busy.
Do you have the right head to cope with the growing air space of website projects at Ph Creative? Can you manage a creative operational team of high flyers and deliver on consistently tight deadlines under continual pressure?
Previous experience in the creative field is not essential. A proven track record of pushing tin in a busy working environment is what counts.
