We have an exciting opportunity for a Phlebotomist with their NVQ level 3 to work within the outpatient department at one of Londons most prestigous private hospitals.
This is a full time – permanent position.
You will be required to work 5 out of 7 days which includes working weekends.
Based in Central London.
You will assist clinical staff in providing nursing care of the highest quality to patients, this will include performing the skill of phlebotomy with safety and accuracy, there is an expectation at a level 3 NVQ that you will be able to teach students and staff members Phlebotomy.
Additional duties in line with the job description will be assisting in providing a range of support services to Consultant suite holders, under the supervision of clinical staff, and to perform administrative duties, as required, and facilitate the smooth running of the department
You must have:
-NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
-Phlebotomy skills essential.
-Previous experience in a hospital setting (preferably in Outpatients).
-Evidence of formal training
Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care. Phlebotomy skills essential.
Experience:
* At least one years previous phlebotomy experience.
* You must be familiar with Blood tests / medical terminology.
* Previous hospital experience (Outpatients preferred).
