Office Manager
Job Description:
A groundbreaking global educational initiative is looking for an Office Manager to take responsibility for a number of day-to-day functions. This is a multi-tasked role, and we are looking for someone who enjoys the challenge offered by an ambitious commercial enterprise. The main responsibilities of the role are to support the needs of the company’s various functions from the London HQ. The right candidate will need to come from a similar small business environment where they have been responsible for a combination of administrative duties.
The Office Manager role is key to ensuring our success. You will be the lynch-pin of our international operations, managing the work of a busy admin function, monitoring income and expenditure budgets and liaising with a range of contractors, partners and customers. You’ll also be responsible for co-ordinating responses to requests from external parties and partners.
You’ll have already shown that you have the management skills and the numerical ability to handle such a wide range of tasks. Being articulate and approachable is a pre-requisite for the role, as you’ll be required to deal with both suppliers, partners and customers.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Diary and communications management
• Travel and accommodation bookings
• Events and exhibition support
• Administration
• Office management
• Visitor reception
• Payments (Any supplier payments that need to be made, reconciling payments)
• Process and procedures (For the above and others as they arise)
• General housekeeping (Stationary orders, admin, petty cash, etc)
• Assist with and provide input on other business requirements
• Other ad hoc duties as required
Key requirements:
• You must have Office Management experience
• You must have experience working for the private sector
• You must have advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
