Media Sales Executives required in London

UK Chocolate is a new and vibrant men’s magazine.

Title: Media Sales Executive

Location: London – Office based, inside sales (100% Telesales)

Salary: Dependant on experience (negotiable)

THE ‘MUST HAVES’ FOR THIS MEDIA SALES EXECUTIVE POSITION

- COLD CALLING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Experience in Media Sales / Advertising Sales / Sponsorship Sales / Digital Media Sales / B2B Sales / New Business Development / a similar role

- Confident and proactive person is required to sell advertising for new Men’s online publication. Applicants will need to have a minimum of 18 months experience as an Advertising Telesales Executive, have drive and ambition with excellent communication and client relationship building skills.

- Applicants with contacts in advertising are preferred but not essential.

Main duties:

• You will develop new business relationships, generate Leads.

• Presenting Sales pitch to potential clients through direct communication in telephone calls and emails.

• Responsible for your own lead generation and appointment setting.

• Actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation and close

• Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities.

• Managing and maintaining a pipeline and ensuring all sales administration is current.

• Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation.

• A thorough understanding of clients marketing objectives including their Return On Investment (ROI) objectives.

• Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

• Established relationships with media agencies – Ideal but not essential

• Established relationships with brands direct – Media and Entertainment – Ideal but not essential

• Proven success in your sales ability and demonstrable full knowledge of the sales process

• Confident negotiator and ability to close deals.

• Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions

• A positive and determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities

• Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail

• Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks.

• Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• A positive attitude to dealing with people

• Capable of working independently, and having responsibility as an individual
