Job Description:

IT Support Engineer / Workshop Engineer

South West London, London

£20,000 – £30,000 Plus Company Pension

An exciting career opportunity has arisen for expanding IT Services company. They are looking for an IT Engineer to work in their very busy workshop.

This is an excellent opportunity for a keen IT professional to develop their career within a highly successful company. Applications are invited from senior IT support people as well as candidates with junior level experience.

Working as part of a small but friendly team, as the IT Support Engineer / Workshop Engineer, you will support our client’s internal IT systems. In this varied role, using mainly Windows based applications, your responsibilities will include:

- setting up and installing new PCs

- diagnosing and repairing Desktop/Laptop faults

- stripping down the Laptops/PC’s nd rebuilding the systems

- replacing existing hardware

- providing support for over 60 users

To be considered for this role, you will need a good general understanding of IT, including hardware installation and setting up new PCs. You will also need experience with the following:

- Windows 2003 onwards

- SQL

- good knowledge of infrastructure including cabling

- Network administration and security, networking and TCP-IP.

- software and hardware implementations

- SQL

A full UK driving licence is required

The ideal IT Support Engineer / Network Engineer will have experience of IT support, within a commercial environment. Candidates without this experience will still be considered, as our client is willing to provide some training.
