Job Purpose Summary: To lead multi-disciplined development teams and build client winforms projects to a high level of usability, stability and performance.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities (Duties)
• Leading a team of multi –disciplined developers with the vision/ ability to improve efficiency and team performance.
• Ensure client systems are built to a high level of quality, usability and stability.
• Design and Implement a mechanism of measurement, development and continuous improvement for the development teams.
• Develop and enhance processes to manage change, versioning, and deployment.
• Engage the Business Systems team to ensure the development team are being fed specifications that support quality.
• Lead the design and creation of tools to increase development teams’ productivity.
• Take ownership of application stability.
Knowledge and Skills required
• Strong process and resource management.
• Developed software in a SaaS or Software House environment.
• Considerable experience in leading multi-disciplined development teams.
• Demonstrable success of creating order from chaos.
• Manage partners in delivery of software (e.g. QA, documentation, SI’s).
• Leading multiple teams.
• Formulating and implementing highly agile development and release methodologies.
• Delivering a customer/service-centric operation.
