We are looking for a well-experienced
HEAD CHEF (m/f) for busy place with expansion plans for 2011
starting date: September 2011
HEAD CHEF or rising Sous Chef with good quality cheffing and leading skills required for gastro pub and expanding events trade in Wiltshire. This is an unpretentious venue which really brings food alive and is extremely well reputed in the area, and in return very busy trade (60 covers per meal, will become 90 soon).
Our client (Chef proprietor) is expanding to take over an outside catering unit, as such requires a strong chef to take over the helm at the pub, all fresh produce, unpretentious, affordable but beautifully presented cuisine. Working under the Owners food ethos, but with plenty of scope for inclusion of your own menus it is essential that yo understand the business and are flexible to the customers demands. Small team, 3 chefs with plenty of support from the owner where required.

The suitable applicant will all fresh produce experience, alongside good man management skills, and kitchen health hygiene and financial management skills, with direction under the Chef proprietor. It requires someone with a high level of responsibility since the owner has other off site responsibilities from time to time.
Car driver preferred due to location outside small Wiltshire town, although assistance may be given to find live in accommodation.
