Fund Accountant
Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Fund Accountant who will be an organised, motivated and proactive individual with excellent time management, computer and customer service skills.
You will be required to work on the following-
• Preparation of Net Asset Valuations (NAV’s) to include:
o Pricing of portfolios (Shares, options, bonds and other derivatives.)
o Maintenance of accruals
o Preparation of weekly and monthly financial information
o Processing of bank movements
• Preparation of contract notes and shareholder statements
• Preparation of year end financial statements and co-ordination of year end audit
• Liaising with shareholders and other stakeholders
The Company is looking for an individual who possess the following skills:
• Organised with excellent time management skills
• Analytical and dynamic with an industrious attitude
• High standard of written and spoken English
• Excellent communicator at all levels
• Supervisory Skills
• Viewpoint, SAGE or TAS Books knowledge advantageous
• A good knowledge of Excel is essential
• Capable of meeting tight deadlines
• Familiar with Gibraltar and other off shore Statutory Returns
• Background in audit is advantageous
• Fund administration experience is advantageous but not essential
In house training will be given on the bespoke software currently used, and after completing a successful probationary period, by external courses.
Candidates with ACCA/ACA or similar or candidates with audit experience considered.
Salary is circa £28k depending on experience
