<p>We are seeking an experienced Software Developer &#8211; .NET, C#, SQL, WCF, ASP.NET, PHP, MYSQL</p>
<p>We&#8217;re looking for an experienced software developer who has commercial experience in working with C# 4.0, .NET 4, WCF, WF, ASP.NET and PHP, along with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 and MySQL(5.0) with knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS.</p>
<p>The skills we require are:</p>
<p>-Excellent C# and ASP.Net (.NET 4) programming skills</p>
<p>-Experience of PHP (at least 5.3) programming skills</p>
<p>-Experience of SQL Server 2008 R2 and MySQL 5.0</p>
<p>-Experience of working with Windows</p>
<p>-Experience of WCF, WF, WPF and Winforms (C# 4.0)</p>
<p>-Experience of version control using SVN</p>
<p>-Experience of Unit testing</p>

<p>The projects you will be working on will be linked to web-based services, programming front-end user interfaces, with back-end server integration. You will design, develop, maintain, administer, review, test and support the software and scripts within the business, and head-up new and exciting development projects.</p>
<p>Ideally you will also have development knowledge of working with Microsoft server products, including Exchange in a hosted environment.</p>

These companies buy and operate a diverse range of electrical, mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment and through partnerships with local African companies AteqCo sources from manufacturers around the world, bids for and wins orders to supply this equipment. </p>
<p>A Sales Engineer is required to assist in the continued growth of the company. Applicants should have sound engineering principles understanding, knowledge of West African industrial practices, and should be commercially experienced in dealing with customers, suppliers, enquiries, tenders, sales orders, purchase orders and international freight. Good computer skills are required – Microsoft Office applications and Internet navigation – and command of French language would be desirable. </p>
<p>The position is based in Monmouth, South Wales, working time is Monday to Friday 08.00AM to 4.30PM with ½ hour for lunch. Holidays are 20 days per year in addition to normal statuatory holidays. Salary is £14,000 per annum with possibilities of partnership and directorship in the future. </p>

<br />•	To act as the principal point of contact within assigned accounts, assuming responsibility for the timely submission of progress reports and other contractual documentation. Take full responsibility for any in scope monthly service / Project reviews.<br />
<br />•	Use regular service review and other meetings to review customers’ current business issues and demands. Analyse the implications for service requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement, or cross-selling.<br />
<br />•	Ensure SLA achievement and pro-actively drive service improvement through the creation and implementation of Service Improvement Plans.<br />
<br />•	Develop relationships of openness and trust with customers to allow a better understanding of their business and a shared understanding of any issues.<br />
<br />•	Pro-actively seek to add value for Connect Communications through the development of services in addition to existing services through the regular analysis of customer satisfaction and performance data.<br />
<br />•	Drive service development though the creation and implementation of Service Development Plans (SDPs).<br />
<br />•	Ensure that engagement, communication and development strategies are aligned with the account and sales management team’s growth/sales strategies.<br />
<br />•	Take personal responsibility for driving major customer incidents/issues through to resolution, working closely with appropriate internal teams and delegating issues where necessary.<br />
<br />•	Be recognised as Connect’s senior representative at Service / Progress meetings with the Customer, taking accountability for problem resolution.<br />
<br />•	Be the ‘voice of the customer’ within the organisation and influence and coordinate internal teams, as well as management, to resource and resolve customer issues.<br />
<br />•	Understand the customer revenue and contribution, and the factors impacting service profitability. Monitor service and other credits paid, billing disputes, aged debt, service changes requested, etc, to ensure all appropriate processes are adhered to.<br />
<br />•	Proactively update customers on service performance and monitor their satisfaction during service implementation.<br />
<br />•	Measure and monitor service performance, including SLA measures, ensuring service reports are produced and delivered on the timescales agreed with the customer. Monitor all key performance indicators, including customer satisfaction and perceptions of service, and take action to prevent and address under-performance. Present service performance information through regular service reviews. Agree priorities and actions to be taken.<br />
<br />•	Develop strong internal networks with, and be an effective virtual team-member of, key internal departments.<br />
<br />•	Take a proactive role in the bid management process to develop an understanding of the customer’s business issues and service level expectations. Work cohesively with Sales and Account Management teams as part of the bid management team.<br />
<br />•	As part of a new service start-up, negotiate deliverable Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that, where appropriate, take into account specific customer requirements.<br />
<br />•	Prepare and maintain service documentation and ensure that all operational areas of the business are fully briefed with respect to services supported and customer impact statements.<br />
<br />•	Working with the Head of Service Delivery Management, the Service Delivery Manager will be the principal point of contact for his/her nominated accounts and represent Connect at all levels within the customer organisation.<br />
<br />•	Development and maintenance of relationships at a senior level within both Connect and the customer<br />
<br />•	Close working relationship with key support areas within Connect to ensure efficient delivery of customer support. (Project Management, Service Centre, Account and Sales Management etc.).<br />
<br />•	Develop and maintain a close working relationship with third party maintainers, service providers and other third party business units where applicable.</p>
<p>FORMAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING</p>
<p>•	Educated to A-level minimum, with higher education qualification (degree or equivalent preferred). Alternatively, relevant and proven Industry experience would be accepted<br />
<br />•	Industry or relevant business qualifications and accreditations would be desirable<br />
<br />•	Proficiency in European languages would be an advantage<br />
<br />•	ITIL Foundation<br />
<br />•	Previous service delivery experience is a key requirement<br />
<br />•	Overall telecommunications knowledge with an appreciation of the Nortel and Avaya Product Sets</p>

<p>•	An experienced Communications professional with a broad background in telecommunications at an operational level.<br />

<br />•	Recognition of the issues involved in working in the service industry, with particular emphasis placed on the customer focus issues.<br />

<br />Description: A technician/worker for a small successful exhibition systems company –</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will be:</p>
<p>Be physically fit &#8211; the post can be very physically demanding.</p>
<p>25+ years.</p>
<p>Be punctual and reliable (for exhibitions and event days this is the first priority).</p>
<p>Be able to calmly and efficiently liaise with clients in a potentially difficult and stressful environment.</p>
<p>Be able to work independently and take initiative.</p>
<p>Have a positive, “can do” attitude.</p>
<p>Represent the company in a positive light in the public eye.</p>
<p>Be able to work in a team and to get on with fellow workers.</p>
<p>The post will involve:</p>
<p>Maintaining a small workshop.</p>
<p>Wood working, the making and assembling exhibition panels.</p>
<p>Metal working, tapping, drilling and assembly.</p>
<p>The making and assembling of lighting components.</p>
<p>Painting and preparation of exhibition walling.</p>
<p>The installing of our exhibition systems in a variety of venues across the UK.</p>
<p>Making deliveries throughout the UK.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will have woodwork and practical experience but is not essential. Experience within the exhibition or art world is a bonus but not essential, however a full clean (ish) driving licence and the ability to drive a transit or Luton van around the UK is an absolute must.</p>
<p>The post is for part-time two days per week. Hours and days to vary (though often 9-5).<br />
<br />The successful candidate must be flexible and be available for additional hours or days should the exhibition schedule demand it, including some evenings and weekends.</p>
<p>Rate: £10 per hour</p>
