Events Kitchen Porter
Job Description:
We are looking for staff to work as Kitchen Porters at The Ryder Cup to be held at the Celtic Manor Newport South Wales.
No experience necessary. Duties to include washing pots and pans, cutlery, crockery etc. Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy. This may involve some moderate lifting. Will be required to wear sturdy shoes.
Transport is provided to the venue from various locations in the South Wales area. This vacancy is temporary for 1 week from 27th September – 3rd October 2010, you will be required to work a minimum 5 days out of 7.
Pay is £5.80ph meeting National Minimum wage requirements.
Job requirements:
Need to be prepared to work in a busy enviroment washing pots and other types of heavy duty work. Need to be able to communicate with Chefs and colleagues to carry out tasks assigned but this role is not customer facing so suitable for those with little or no experience.
