Job Description:
The Radisson BLU Hotel Bristol, is a new development and an eye-catching building right in the city centre. The hotel has 176 bedrooms in 3 different styles, the award winning ‘Filini’ restaurant and bar, lobby bar and 5 state of the art conference rooms. Located close to the historic part of the city and the new harbour side development, it is also within walking distance of most of the cities cultural treasures as well as pubs, restaurants and shopping areas.
‘Filini’ is an award winning Rezidor Hotel Group restaurant concept based on Italian food. Furthermore the hotel offers intimate & exclusive banqueting facilities catering for meetings, events, banqueting and private dining
Main responsibilities
Taking responsibility for your section of the kitchen
Works under direction and supervision of Executive Chef and Sous Chef
Supervises the Commis Chefs in the kitchen
Ensure planning and preparation for service is completed
Prepare dishes to highest quality and standards
Complies with all relevant Health & Safety and Food Safety standards
Personal requirements
Experience as Demi Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie required
Good organisation skills and ability to multi-task
Have the ability to cope under pressure
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good team player, flexible and enthusiastic
Passion for food
