Cisco Engineer
Job Description:
A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Cisco Network Design Engineer to join the Albus IT solutions team to maintain & develop core infrastructure and services for our clients. Duties will include conduction of Cisco routing maintenance to ISP systems, providing 3rd line support to customers, Design, Implementation & testing of solutions for clients. Due to continued success & expansion this is not your average Cisco Design role, projects can vary from quite simple to far more complex therefore you will get lots of variation within the position. The Network Design Engineer MUST have solid design and some project based experience for the entire life-cycle.
The ideal candidate will have -
- 5 years Cisco technical experience,
- Be CCIE, CCDE or CCNP accredited,
- Cisco Network Design background,
- Advanced knowledge of WAN, MAN & LAN technologies,
- Hands on experience working with Microsoft, Cisco or Redhat technologies,
- Ideally have management/ leadership skills.
- High level routing & switching experience is a must (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
