Responsibilities

• Lead the UI development team by acting as the UI architect as well as providing the other UI developers guidance and direction in their daily work

• Develop and re-factor key parts of the UI codebase

• Code review work down by the UI development team and provide

meaningful feedback

• Provide direction for achieving UI technical and user goals

• Negotiate an achievable scope with the design team

• Negotiate APIs and feature sets to support the UI with the server team • Provide input in the release planning schedule, together with the other

team leads

Experience

• A passion for education and research (academia) and a desire to make a difference in this area

• MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Maths or Engineering or equivalent experience

• 2+ years experience in a senior team lead role

• 5+ years of experience of building real web applications/websites with

• Extensive HTML/CSS/JS expertise as well as jQuery experience • Experience with client-side templating a huge plus

• Proficient in Ruby and Node.js a huge plus

• Git and github knowledge, the more the better

• Demonstrated project leadership experience

• Ability to quickly prototype, architect and build using cutting-edge

technologies

• Very detailed oriented

• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

• Participating and contributing to Open Source projects a huge plus

Floor Supervisor at a delightful nursery near Dorking, Surrey. The hours are 42.5 per week on a shift basis and the nursery is open 8am to 6.30pm. The floor supervisor is responsible for the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage planning for the 3-5’s but also oversees the 2-3year age group also based on that floor; this group has its own room leader. The total staff on the floor is 6 including a part time lunch cover. The salary would be according to qualification and experience but would be in the region £15,000 – £17,000pa. The post attracts 20 days holiday per year.
