Main responsibilities

Taking responsibility for your section of the kitchen

Works under direction and supervision of Executive Chef and Sous Chef

Supervises the Commis Chefs in the kitchen

Ensure planning and preparation for service is completed

Prepare dishes to highest quality and standards

Complies with all relevant Health & Safety and Food Safety standards

Personal requirements

Experience as Demi Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie required

Good organisation skills and ability to multi-task

Have the ability to cope under pressure

Good verbal and written communication skills

Good team player, flexible and enthusiastic

Passion for food

Need to be prepared to work in a busy enviroment washing pots and other types of heavy duty work. Need to be able to communicate with Chefs and colleagues to carry out tasks assigned but this role is not customer facing so suitable for those with little or no experience.
