Care Workers
Job Description:
We are a leading provider of person-centred care services.
Our care workers provide practical assistance and personal care services to individuals in their own home, helping them to get the most out of life – this can include the elderly, people with mental health needs and those recovering from time in hospital. This is a great opportunity if you have a friendly and caring approach and enjoy working with people.
Although experience is welcomed, if you do not come from a care background we will support you in the training you will need, which could lead to an NVQ 2 qualification in Care. It’s your natural inclination to put a smile on people’s faces and work with your own initiative to help you build relationships quickly and provide an all-round quality service.
Hours are worked in shifts and can include evenings and weekends but this can be discussed further during the interview process. You must be aged 18+ as providing personal care.
Some areas of Sheffield may require you to have access to your own transport. Travel time between visits is limited as the areas we cover in Sheffield are divided up as follows:
Chapel Town, High Green, Burn Cross
Firvale, Burngreave, Pittsmoor, Firth Park
Handsworth, Richmond, Stradbroke
Woodhouse, Beighton, Hackenthorpe, Halfway, Waterthorpe, Mosborough
Dronfield, Dronfield Woodhouse, Coal Aston, Renishaw, Eckington
Our benefits include a competitive salary, excellent holiday entitlement, a comprehensive Induction Programme, one free uniform and ongoing training and development. Together with the interesting characters you will meet and the genuine thanks that you will receive, it all adds up to a hugely satisfying job.
All appointments are subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure and satisfactory references.
