Business & Finance Manager
Job Description:
Busy construction/retail company requires
experienced person with sound business
and finance knowledge to manage an
accounts office and provide cover for the
Managing Director.
The ideal applicant will have spent a number
of years in the construction industry and be
able to demonstrate sound commercial and
financial knowledge gained through working
in an accounts office or accountancy practice.
SAGE accounts and payroll is essential along
with a good knowledge of IT systems.
Key responsibilities are:
• to manage all financial aspects of the company;
• produce and present management accounts;
• accounts to trial balance stage;
• liaise with external auditors;
• complete tax , CIS and employment returns;
• control cash flow;
• seek out best value by developing strong links with suppliers;
• set up new systems to improve work flow;
• manage and control the workload of a small office
team;
• provide cover in the running of the business.
Salary is negotiable depending upon experience.
