Job Description:
Main Duties
Generate new business opportunities through outbound telephone calls.
Communicating new product developments and opportunities to prospective clients
Distribute quotations and company literature.
Maintain and update the company’s database.
Build and maintain long term relationships with clients.
Proactive targeting of new business and opportunities.
Research and source potential clients.
Providing management with market feedback.
General administrative duties
Person Specification
Previous telesales experience is essential
Customer Service experience
Excellent telephone manner
Good communications skills, both writing and verbally
Good organisational and time-management skills , able to prioritse work loads effectively
Positive, outgoing and friendly attitude
Self-motivated, ambitious self-starter but able to work as a team
Good negotiation skills and persuasiveness
Initiative and enterprise
Able to exercise tact and discretion when handling confidential information
Smart appearance and professional manner
Interest in the pet industry is desirable but not essential
