ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
Job Description:
Nomadic Display are an established market leader within the vibrant exhibition industry. Based from our UK head office in Isleworth, we are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic PART TIME Accounts Assistant for a maternity cover contract of at least 3 months, but candidate must be flexible as could be as long as one year.
Hours: 25-30 per week, across 5 days Mon-Fri (starting at 9am or 10am).
Salary: £15,000 – £17,000 pro rata
Experience & abilities needed:
·Minimum of 1 year experience in a computerised sales or purchase ledger role.
·Good working knowledge of Excel.
·Experience of a corporate Accounting software package.
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
·Ability to work under pressure.
·Excellent attention to detail.
·Team player.
Duties will include:
·Making orders live and authorising orders including obtaining a credit score for new customers.
·Sending proformas to new clients and chase pre-payments from them.
·Credit clearing customer orders.
·Creating new clients in our system.
·Produce sales invoices and credit notes.
·Record cash receipts in excel and match with remittances.
·Daily banking.
·Posting and allocating receipts in our system.
·Maintain an accurate and up-to-date filing system.
·Liaise with Sales Staff regarding queries on orders.
·Dealing with customer account queries.
·Responsibility for sending statements and reminder letters to customers.
·Chase customers by telephone and email for outstanding payments.
·Create storage orders and invoice them.
·Helping purchase ledger work in the absence of purchase ledger staff.
